Excellent class!! Truly engaging and inspiring for all three of my boys. I saw my oldest willingly doing extra research without any prompting. It was an excellent overview of architecture through history. Was beyond pleased with the course.

As soon as he saw the announcement that a level two class was starting in another four weeks, he said he wanted to sign up, and so we did. I HIGHLY recommend this course for any child who is showing any interest in programming/coding/video game how-to!

My 10 year-old son loved this class. He even made a friend with any other Qwester who we discovered also lived in Australia too!

The interaction with the teacher & the other students (via message boards) was motivating to him, & looking at the other students' work inspired him with tweaks/ideas for his own games. As a parent, I liked the pace of this class, how motivating it was for him, & I thought it was very affordable.

My daughter (11) loved this course! It prompted some interesting conversations about architectural styles and she is now talking about building a Minecraft map based on the Modern styles. She really looked forward to to receiving the feedback on her work from the teachers each week. I liked that the course enccouraged students to comment and encourage their virtual class mates. Very positive.

This was an EXCELLENT class! My son is 10 and enjoys playing on the MIT Scratch site. This class taught him to create video games in a different way, and it was very easy to follow along. The only thing I had to help with was printing the list of items he needed to do each week and showing him how to navigate to the discussion boards, how to post a reply, etc., during the first week. After that, he did the entire class on his own. He was so excited to show the family each video game as he completed a new one each week!

I love that this is a true self-paced online course geared for younger students. I thought the content, layout and organization offered a very positive experience for my 9 year old daughter. However since this was the first online course my daughter has taken, she was very overwhelmed at the start of the class until she realized her own pace and understood the expectations of the course. But she quickly got into doing her builds and I particularly liked seeing her taking notes during the video tutorials
